Presidential Photographers David Hume Kennerly, Barbara Kinney and Eric Draper will be talking about their time in the White House during a special gathering at the Portland Art Museum at 3 p.m. November 7. I'll be moderating the conversation that will no doubt be engaging and wide ranging. Information about tickets is here.
Among the things I do is volunteer for the board of directors of the Photography Council at the Portland Art Museum. It's an honor to be part of that great group of people. I suggested to them that we sponsor this conversation last spring and its finally coming to fruition with the guidance of the museum's new curator of photography, Julia Dolan.
It's such a blast to be involved in art photography and to introduce presidential photography from inside the bubble to people who can make it November 7. I hope you can. - Mike
