I continue to make pictures now and then, on assignment, and its a pure joy. In this case, the assignment was for Mix magazine, which is about the food and drink scene of Portland, and was about five recipes and the people who created them. The story was about hangover food so not only was there great pleasure in photographing, and then eating, the food and in meeting the makers, it's bound to come in handy one morning soon.
Every image is lit, using Canon strobes and the new ttl Pocket Wizards and Creative Light umbrellas and soft box.
